Macro - first attempt

Attempted my first macro (using lens reversal) with my 50mm prime. Just roamed around my house and found a couple of florists who were kind enough to let me take a few shots of their beautiful flowers !

I wanted to take this shot for a long time now. Was just searching for the perfect candidate. Shwet was soo interested in getting a portfolio done, i thought that I'd try it on my good friend :)

A lake on kanakpura road

Got this beautiful overcast sky over a lake a few kms fm bangalore near kanakpura road just behind art of living campus. Thanks bro for the location :) Had a lottt of trouble taking this shot ! It was raining and I was standing there with my cam fixed on a tripod and and and umbrella to protect my gear. Mohan had to sit there without moving a hair until I told him to. Thanks Mohan :)

Portfolio shoot at Cubbon Park

I was on cloud nine after i got my 50mm 1.8 prime lens :) My bro, soniya, and myself decided to go to cubbon park for a test shoot as he also had got a 50mm prime for his canon. Portfolios and portraits are something that I have never done before and was more than eager to try one out.

Global Warming

Had a tough time taking this shot. The sun had set, and I was trying for a long exposure on my tripod. The wind was so strong, the lens was shaking all the time ! Just couldnt keep my 300mm in one place ! somehow managed to block the wind and took this one.

Fruitography !

This time I went home, I decided to try somethin different. It's known as fruitography. It can also be called as vegetablography :P, but somehow i like fruitography :)

Pottery - Narayanapura

Narayanapura village is about 15 km north of Bangalore on the airport road.
We had gone for a photoshoot with SLRBB group. The group included Amith, Paddy, Ullas, Manju, Ajay, Chandan, Tushar, and myself. It was nice meeting everyone for the first time.
