In the Air

So the long journey started - Bangalore to Toronto via London.

While on the plane, you have two options - either to sleep through or gaze outside wondering how many children would be looking at the plane right now. I was dead tired and slept most of the time, but occasionally I like to look outside and check the landscape if there is anything interesting to click. The below photo was taken while we were flying above Turkey, and the turquoise blue formation is the Van Golu lake - the largest saltwater lake in Turkey.

Lake Urmia - Iran was a weird looking water body shaped like an inverted question mark. Glad that British Airways had the maps right in front of me, so that I could see where we were at the moment. They should improve the maps though, as it looks very primitive and has very little information.
